We are home from our Plymouth Winter Wonderland. It is nice to be home, although we had a fantastic stay at Grammy’s. We are all down here now, and Auntie Tyler arrived last night. More family on its way today. Two days to go… wow!
He is checking to make sure all is in order, before the big Christmas festivities begin tomorrow!

The little elf was busy this morning, trying to butter up to Santa! He was making lots of silly faces and smiles. What a cutie, I think it might just work. I predict Santa melting and forgetting a few little cases of elfin mischief!

Wow, only 4 more days to go! The little elf was busy prepping Rudolph for his Christmas Eve navigating this morning. Looks like Rudolph was in good hands! It is sure to be a white Christmas in these parts, after being walloped with over 16″ of snow over the weekend. Rudolph was trying to get lots of practice in before the big day!

Only 5 more days until Christmas. We are up at Grammy’s house in Plymouth. WOW! The Blizzard of ‘09 officially is here. Well over 15″ of snow out there. The little guy was so excited to finally see the white stuff!! It was fun to show it to him finally. Still coming down out there. Looks like a White Christmas for us.
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

This morning the little one was having a conference with Nutcrackers. Santa, the Chimney Sweep and Knight were all in attendance. Not sure what all was being discussed, but looks like Santa definitely had the floor at the time.

Good morning! We are up at Grammy’s house today for a Secret Society of Snowmen meeting. The elf and various other members were deep into their conversation. I slipped away for a quick snap of the activity.

Today was my attempt at a nice tree/baby shot. This isn’t too bad, although the tree is not lit as nicely as some were, but then in those the elf was making faces of course. I am discovering that shooting pictures of a baby requires taking zillions of shots, and hoping for one good one. It is fun though. This picture there is even a little cat tail action if you look close. Silly little boy liked sitting up in his big boy rocking chair too.

Three days behind on the blog. This is proving harder to keep up with than I thought, but I am still valiantly trying. We were dressing up like Frosty this day. That is one of his favorite carols (when Mama sings it, with her head bobbing all around) Pretty cute little Frosty, mama thinks anyway.

Good afternoon! Last night I saw Rudolph flying around practicing his Christmas Eve acrobatics! It looked like he was having lots of fun with his little nose and antlers all lit up. Not long now until the big day! Enjoy your day!

Good Evening. I need to get back to posting these in the morning. It has been a little tough with the little elf to squeeze all the posting in.
This morning we were up early and out to feed the birds. I don’t think the little elf looks very happy about his perch, it was a little cold, but he was happy to watch the birds eat once we got to the warmth of inside. Lots of chickadees, tufted titmice, cardinals, bluejays, carolina wrens, winter wrens, nuthatches…among a few others. They seem happy to be fed on these cold grey December days. My little elf was like a mini Grandpy today!
