Hi. I have some cool knitting projects to work on in the coming cooler months. That is if my little one will allow it. There is a new yarn store in Plymouth, MA and she had some great selections. I found this great glow in the dark yarn, I haven’t decided what to make with it yet. But I am thinking about some little creature for my nephew’s 4th birthday. I also got this cool little felted doll kit I am excited to start on.

Some knitting projects
August 31, 2009Lee Mason is 2 months old!
August 26, 2009My little Wee Lee turned 2 months old on Sunday. Haven’t had much time to blog, as he has been keeping me very busy. He loves to walk around and be held close so that doesn’t leave a lot of hands to do much else. He is just starting to smile and laugh at Mommy which is awesome. I can’t wait for fall and cooler temps for him to wear some of his sweaters and I can get back in the mode of knitting again. Have to run he is calling for mama and a nice stroll outside.
More baby
July 10, 2009Still in full baby swing here, made it through the first two weeks!! Mason as we are calling him right now, is thriving so far. He is a cutie! Mama here is still struggling to get over her preeclampsia, but hopefully it won’t last forever! So for now, I am sharing more baby photos. Who can resist a cute face!

Long Absence
July 7, 2009Hello again. I have been gone for quite some time. The last month of my pregnancy was full of high blood pressure, non-stress tests etc…that kept me back and forth between bed rest and the hospital. I am happy to report that on June 23rd, my son Lee Mason joined us and despite being a tiny little guy is thriving. He was born at 7:45 am on June 23rd with no drugs and with only about 5 hours of labor after being induced the night before. He was 5lbs. 20z and 19″ long. He is just beautiful and we are enjoying every minute of him. Hopefully I can get back into the blogging world now.
And after a few days in NICU and a week in the hospital for Mom, we are home and got to enjoy the Fourth of July together!
This is one of his favorite poses. I like to call him my little tree frog!
Clematis
June 3, 2009Peonies
June 2, 2009Sorry for the nearly month absence. I have been so busy getting ready for the arrival of our baby. I am almost 36 weeks now, nearly to the finish line. It has been a great pregnancy. Hard to believe it is already June, doesn’t seem that long ago that we found out about our little lad.
Today I noticed that the peonies were open. They are so beautiful. It looks like it is going to rain though, which always happens right as they are blooming, and then they all fall down like droopy ladies. So I went out and snapped a few pictures before the deluge comes. They are just such heavenly flowers.
Plymouth Visit
May 13, 2009
We have been up in Plymouth since Friday visiting my parents. It has been a great time, but I have been a little busy enjoying myself up here to blog. Nice to spend some time before the baby comes with Mom and Dad. Gorgeous weather we have had here, and lots of fun drives around the ocean. Heading back home today, with a detour through RI.
31 weeks and counting.
May 7, 2009Glorious Dogwood
May 6, 2009Rainy Spring
May 5, 2009Another rainy spring day here. Dogwood is blooming and things are getting greener and greener. The rain is enhancing the colors of everything, so I don’t mind it too much today. Might get a glimmer of sun tomorrow afternoon. The spurge is coming into its glory now too, love the lime color of the plant in the rain.
